Chinese HDG exports price witness rebound - 28 Aug, 2008
It is reported that domestic hot dipped galvanized coil prices witness rebound however steel makers have cut export offers again to allure contracts and relived the pressure of slump in sales volume.
On Shanghai market, 1.0mm HDG by Anshan steel is being quoted at CNY 6480 per tonne down by CNY 120 per tonne WoW. But it is CNY 50 per tonne higher than yesterday. That for 0.5mm HDG by private steel makers is at CNY 7130 per tonne up by CNY 30 per tonne than this Monday.
Prevailing export quotation for 1.0mm HDG Z120 has dropped to USD 1010 per tonne to USD 1020 per tonne FOB a drop of USD 50 per tonne from early last week. Contract prices are reported to be at USD 1000 per tonne to USD 1010 per tonne FOB, but there is no report of much transaction.
